Welcome to Glyphbound

A 2D top down game where you play as Phil, a young man who’ve just arrived in a new world and not knowing any single word. A fairy named Fey then appears and offers help for you to escape by giving a spell book and journal with actions. Find out the meaning of the words in the book to go back home, but beware, other characters can lie to take advantage of you or just plain untrustworthy.

Mechanics

Journal & Spellbook

Players can use spells when they've understood the Glyphs in question. To do so, players can use the journal to match the meaning of the words with the glyphs available.

Heart Sight

Through Fey's help, players can identify a persons' trait alongside the truth in their words. Point it out if something is amiss and find out the real truth.
